David Swope
Owner & Founder
David is the President of BetterBath, dedicated to ensuring the company continues to Better the lives of its customers, employees, and the Central Oregon communities it serves. He leads with a focus on integrity, innovation, and lasting results. When he’s not guiding the business, David enjoys sailing on the high lakes with family and friends.
Eric Padilla
Production Manager
Eric is the Production Manager at BetterBath, committed to guiding every project with clarity, efficiency, and care. He ensures remodels run smoothly from consultation to completion, always keeping customer satisfaction at the forefront. When he’s not on the job, Eric enjoys the outdoors with his wife, daughter, and pup.
Grace Veldsma
Marketing & Business Development
Grace leads Marketing and Business Development at BetterBath, and she’s often the first voice you’ll hear when reaching out. Born and raised in Redmond, she brings a local perspective and genuine care to every interaction. When she’s not crafting BetterBath’s marketing or website, Grace enjoys relaxing with a good book.

Our crew is the heart of every BetterBath project — skilled tradespeople who take pride in their work and in serving our Central Oregon community. Here’s a quick look at the people bringing Better to every bathroom.
Shane moved to Central Oregon in 2019 and enjoys the strong sense of community and outdoor lifestyle. For him, being part of BetterBath means contributing to the growth of the place he now calls home.
Jamie has partnered with BetterBath for more than three years, lending her carpentry and natural building expertise. Whenever extra skilled hands are needed, Jamie adds a special local touch to our projects.
Lance brings experience and dedication to the crew, with over 16 years in the trades. A recent Redmond resident and single dad, he enjoys the area’s active lifestyle and finds time for golf when he can.
Jacob has been in the trades for seven years and loves Central Oregon’s lakes and four-season weather. Outside of work, he spends time fishing, working on classic cars, and catching live music.

You’ve probably driven past it — that familiar building on Maple in Redmond that never quite caught your eye. It will soon. We’re transforming a well-loved home on Redmond’s growing north side into the new BetterBath Showroom — a space where craftsmanship meets community.
This project is more than a remodel; it’s a reflection of the continued growth happening across Redmond. The city’s rapid expansion in the 1990s brought new neighborhoods and homes that helped shape the community we know today. Now, as those houses age, many bathrooms are ready for renewal. BetterBath is proud to be part of that next chapter — helping homeowners modernize outdated spaces into beautiful, functional bathrooms built to last.
By creating a place where locals can see, touch, and experience the products and design that define a Better bathroom, we’re not just showcasing our work — we’re investing in Redmond’s continued growth. The showroom will highlight our full range of remodeling and design capabilities, giving homeowners a place to explore ideas, find inspiration, and experience the BetterBath difference firsthand.
